Letter on Monday, June 2

Hey Everyone!

Sorry I missed emailing last week! Things were a little crazy with
Memorial Day.  We actually were able to go to a Mets game for P-day.
I think we had the whole mission there almost haha. It was a good
time.

This week was great.  I'm proud to announce that each companionship in
our district is now teaching an investigator we've found.  We are
praying we will start finding some people we can actually teach soon
but I'm grateful we've been able to meet so many pure in heart people.
We had another shoe shine activity this week. We set up little shoes
shining stations and gathered people to come get their shoes shined.
It was a fun way to serve the community.

We did a lot of service this week. On Saturday we planted flowers
around probably 50 different trees here in Woodside.  I've been so
surprised by how green it is here.  Not quite the concrete jungle
Manhattan is.  Well I wish I had more exciting stories to tell but
then again maybe its a good thing :) Hopefully I'll have more to write
next week.  Hope everyone is healthy and happy.  I miss you all!
